15 December 2020
It’s a dream to have your own swimming pool right beside your house. And the swimming pool of course has many wonderful benefits. So if you are planning to have one you might be in great confusion since there are a lot of available options nowadays. There are three types of pools namely Fiberglass, Concrete, and Vinyl liner pools. Choosing one type is the first thing you need to decide. Each of the pools has its own pros and cons and today we are here to distinguish them on the basis of some qualities so that you can have some overview of what you should plan.
Installation:
Fiberglass swimming pools are quite faster to install than concrete since the shell of the pool is ready-made and delivered to your home for installation. A fiberglass pool can be installed in just a matter of days as compared to concrete pools which take months to get complete. You may consider a shorter installation period since during the installation your backyard gets disorder and this may look unattractive.
Durability:
Durability is one of the important aspects of pools. The vinyl liner pool is the least durable comparing other types since the liner can get punctured and may require replacement since there is not any remedy and it can be costly as well. You may also consider pool with lifetime. So it is better to have a Fiberglass pool or the concrete pool if durability is what you consider.
Cost:
The least expensive is the vinyl liner pool but having a drawback of its lifetime and repairing cost it may cost huge in the long term. Though the other two types of pools are somewhat expensive it has lower rates of repairing and maintenance charge.
Maintenance:
With the choice of these three types of pool, fiberglass is the most maintainable pool type among them. Since the vinyl liner pool and concrete is porous which creates more algae to clean and requires more chemical wash which is quite tedious. Talking about the concrete pool it is more difficult to maintain pH levels since the concrete increases the pH level of the water.
Beauty:
There cannot be any specific answers to this point since the perspective of one can be different from another and everyone can have their taste and preference. Having a pool itself makes your house shine and make your house beautiful to live and look at. Choosing the correct color and lighting are some of the factors that affect the beauty of the pool so whichever pool you choose, you can have multiple choices for the colors, accessories, and lights to make your pool look beautiful.
Hope the points help you choose the correct type of pool for your backyard and increase your beauty of the house and increase its value.
